Description
Killing two birds with one stone: this is both another ATC (yep, I'm still doing these) and a mockup of my midterm project. I wanted to test out the colors, since before now I'd only vaguely established the dark and light areas and such.
The Thing my projects are centered around this semester is song illustrations. This one is for Asobi Seksu's "Thursday". It has little to do with the actual song lyrics and more to do with its rainbowy psychedelicness.
I'm setting this to adv. crit, particularly for the colors scheme and composition. I'm probably going to change up some of the colors anyway; I'd rather have the background match the coloring of one of the letters in the bubble. I also didn't notice that her right boobie was placed too far upwards until after I inked it. My bad! I'll just have to watch for that in the final piece.

This looks really cool! I love the colors, but I agree with you changing the background to one of the letter colors, the orange looks a little out of place.
