Petrine Practice

To my surprise, Petrine's actually turning out to be really fun to draw! Who'd have thought. I think that one profile picture of hers turned out the best. drawing profiles.

I was somewhat affronted by her appearance when I first saw her in FE9, since I usually look forward to FE's hot villain chicks (Brunnya? Ursula? Limstella (sort of)? Selena?). I still don't find her attractive, but when I think about it, she's got a pretty great design - it's very distinctive. FE9 did a great job of giving a lot of the characters appearances that became very characteristic of them (i.e. Elincia and her orange dress).

I think my favorite scenes of hers are the ones where she's talking to Ashnard:

Him: I SEE YOU FAILED AGAIN PETRINE, WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE RAJAION'S DINNER?
